It will take some time to give a final assessment. For now, I can say that I was positively surprised by how comfortable they are already when I first wore them. It takes some time to get used to these shoes, because you walk differently. They are freer, but they activate dormant muscle groups. I would recommend buying an insole. If you have a pronounced bunion, this is definitely a shoe that eliminates pressure in that area.
Although leather is lovely, I was surprised by the size of the surrounding of foot box, and stitching. I’m just getting used to the size of my feet now!
Also, was confused by the colour, as tan in my experience is a much more reddish/yellowy brown than the grey-brown of these shoes≥. I will try a tan polish to give e them more the colour I wanted.
However, they are very soft and comfortable, though not as flexible as other barefoot shoes I have.

These handmade shoes have a substantial yet supple feel and are obviously high quality. I like that the sole is thick and still flexible. The grounding isn't just theory given research in cortisol cycles and how that reduces inflammation. The ultimate metric: I would buy again.

I love these Leopard Minimalists. They just may be my favorite. They do feel a bit larger than the other size 5.5 shoes I’ve ordered here, and I always add the extra insole, but they’re still a great shoe. I have ordered from Atlantis many times before and will continue to do so. I haven’t ever had an issue, so I’ve never dealt with customer service, but I can say my orders come quickly and always packaged very well.
My husband is SUPER picky about his shoes and he told me these are his most comfortable shoes other than his flip-flops, which is a massive compliment
It wasn't what I wanted. I ended up giving it to a charity. The sole wa hard and had heels, which wasn't functional for me. The quality was alright.
Seriously my absolute favorite shoes ever! I wear them almost every day ever since I’ve gotten them, I’m about to buy a pair of boots so my feet don’t freeze through the winter, but they actually do a good job of keeping my feet warm even when it’s super cold out with no socks on!! 🫶
I am loving these. Super comfortable. Despite an insole or any kind of arch support, I walk six blocks every day in these. It’s a little more leather than I thought it would be at the bottom of my calf, but I wouldn’t want any less. I love the design and minimalistic approach. The leather is quality. The stitching is industrial and the zipper is rugged and high-quality, which is essential for these. I bought this boot with the thought that these would be my pair for a long while. I can’t wait for them to break in and express. They will only get better from here…
I find it very hard to find barefoot shoes that don't look like hiking shoes. The Atlantic oxfords are stylish and are very comfortable. I wear a European size 42 and found that this size fit my foot very comfortably. I will probably order more in the future.

The lion ballet flats are fabulous. I chose the rubber sole and I’m very happy with it. It is softening as they break in. Being older I was concerned about a slippery leather sole . I’m so glad Atlantis offers the option of a rubber sole. Very pleased with these.

I knew these shoes would be awesome when I opened the box and smelled the scent of leather and shoe polish! Reminded me of the days of neighborhood shoe repair shops. The shoes are so nicely constructed and are of good quality leather. The leather is stiff enough to be sturdy with a promise of molding to my feet.
Regarding sizing, I opted to go up a size. They are very slightly loose yet will be perfect when I wear socks. Shipping took a bit longer than anticipated yet they arrived in good shape.
I can no longer abide cheaply made shoes and have decided to order another pair in a different style.
